Barbados has recorded its 4th road fatality for the year.
Twenty-five year-old Zakie Williams of Rock Hall St. Philip died during a crash involving two vehicles around 4pm today along Rices Main Road at its junction with Cave land road, St. Philip.
Police said the Vincentian national was travelling on the back tray section of G 4991 a Toyota Hilux when the vehicle was traveling along Cave Land road, before it was involved in a collision with the truck XB 1273.
The truck was travelling in an easterly direction along Rices Main Road, St. Philip.
The now deceased was thrown onto the wall of the Rices Pavillion.
He was transported by ambulance to the QEH. He was pronounced dead on arrival.
