Charges have been laid and there will be a court appearance shortly in relation to an incident were people were videoed on a tour bus partying without wearing masks.
The COVID-19 Monitoring Unit and the police service said then, last November, that they were investigating the incident as the photos and video clips surfaced on social media.
They showed a number of people dancing to music while appearing to consume alcohol in violation of the Emergency Management Directives.
Head of the Covid-19 Monitoring Unit, Ronald Chapman, tells Starcom Network News action has been taken.
Mr. Chapman also appeals to the public to continue to follow the covid-19 protocols even though some of the restrictions have been reduced. He stresses that the pandemic is not over.
