Police this morning broke up a small group that attempted a protest outside the Lionel C hill Supermarket on Roebuck Street.

Coordinator of the Barbados Concerned Citizens Group, Winston Clarke tells Starcom Network News he was escorted to the Central Police Station after the police notified him that he was contravening the public order act.

He said this group was encouraging people to boycott the supermarket given the decision by management  to dismiss workers who dont get vaccinated.

Meantime, when Starcom Network News contacted Richard Ashby Managing Director of Lionel C Hill he said stands firm by what he said.

Mr. Ashby said he would like for all Barbadians to get vaccinated so the public can get back to a level of normalcy.
