Chairman of the Barbados Private Sector Association, Edward Clarke, describes the loss of Crop Over as a big blow.

Mr. Clarke stresses that increasing vaccinations is vital to getting the country to the stage where Crop Over can resume.

And, he indicated support for businesses that are looking for ways to encourage their employees to get vaccinated.

But he also notes the private sector has agreed to a period of national consultations on the matter.
