A meeting of the social partnership today agreed to the commencement of national consultations and sensitization on the issue of mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations.
This was disclosed by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley following a meeting of the social partners comprising government, the private sector, and labour.
All sides agreed there was consensus on the process to be used before implementation, with a decision to be made next month.
Ms. Mottley also disclosed that she will be on leave for two-and-a-half weeks, next month and Santia will act as Prime Minister during that period.
