The two schools in Barbados that were under a covid watch after a positive test at one of them have been given the all clear.
This was announced by Minister of Health Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic and Minister of Education, Santia Bradshaw at a news conference this afternoon.
Teachers and students at Princess Margaret Secondary School had been tested after it was discovered that a student there was positive.
Meantime, a student of St. George Primary was tested after being linked to a covid case.
Lieutenant Colonel Bostic disclosed that the St. George Primary School student has now had two negative tests.
He also explained the situation at Princess Margaret Secondary.
Against that background the education minister said the return of students to school will proceed.
