Government has paid out just over five million dollars so far to small and medium size businesses that were forced to close during the national pause in March.
Minister of Energy, Small Business and Entrepreneurship, Kerry Symmonds, disclosed that up to April 16, approximately eight thousand, five hundred and eleven applications had been received.
More than six thousand had been assessed and paid.
Minister Symmonds also spoke to those entities that did not qualify for assistance.
