Minister of Health and Wellness Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic reports that Barbados’ covid-19 positivity rate continues to decline.

Speaking during the government’s covid-19 and ash clean-up news briefing he said the test results from yesterday represent a positivity rate of less than three percent.

But he again expressed alarm at the large and growing cluster of cases connected to a church in the north which had already been linked to more than 30 cases and has produced nine of the new positives.

He was also alarmed that some of the suspected cases appear to be in hiding.
