Protests rise in Trinidad over killing of three men by police
Major protests erupted in the Trinidad and Tobago capital Port of Spain today with tear gas fired, roads blocked by burning barricades, and arrests being made. It started out at as protest over three men being shot dead by the police. More from Sharon Hamilton-Cudjoe of TV6 in Trinidad.

Stabbing suspect taken into custody
A suspect has reportedly been taken into custody after a man was stabbed to death in an altercation at Thompson Gap, Codrington, St. Michael just before 11:00 last night. The police have identified the deceased as sixty-year-old Victor “Kimble” Husbands of no fixed place of abode. Wendy Burke reports.
