COVID-19 UPDATE: BARBADOS RECORDS FIRST DEATH
Barbados has recorded its first COVID-19 related death. The victim is an 81-year-old man, with underlying medical issues, who travelled to the United Kingdom and returned to the island on March 22nd. Fire at old Ministry of Health compound
A fire of unknown origin has gutted one of the buildings on the old ministry of health compound at Jemmotts Lane, St. Michael. The Fire Service says they received the call just before 5am. Eight fire officers with two tenders battled the blaze.
