A building offered to the Mirchandani family by Government to relocate its Liquation Centre operations has been deemed by the company as not fit for business.
Director of the Mirchandani Group of Companies, Ravi Mirchandani says a site located at Galba Lodge, Fontebelle, St. Michael not only lacks the physical space to operate, but it has no electricity, bathroom facilities and is termite infested.
Last month, Government compulsory acquired the Michandani family’s property at Bay Street to make way for the construction of the Hyatt Hotel.
Mr. Mirchandani tells Starcom Network News that the acquisition has hampered business.
Mr. Mirchandani says no one from Government has come back with a solution.
