Power and water outages force early school closure

The Ministry of Education, Technological and Vocational Training has advised that all public schools will close at noon today due to water and power outages.

The outages have impacted the preparation of meals at two main School Meals centers – Country Road, St. Michael and St. Christopher in Christ Church.
Additionally, the cafeterias at some secondary schools have also been affected.

Parents/guardians are asked to collect their children/wards as soon as possible.
