Police probing stabbing at Mount Tenantry

A man is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times following an altercation last night at Mount Tenantry, St. George.

Police say the victim, 39-year-old Shawn Hunt of Brighton, St. George was liming in the area around 10:00 p.m when he was confronted by another man.

An argument ensued which escalated into an altercation. During this altercation; the victim was stabbed in the neck and chest and collapsed.

The victim was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance and a male suspect is currently in police custody assisting with investigations.
