SSA promises better garbage collection

The Sanitation Service Authority says efforts are on this week to erase a backlog in garbage collection.

The SSA’s Public Relations Officer, Carl Padmore highlights the recent rains and the fact that there’s no weekend garbage collection as factors contributing to the backlog.

But he promises they’ll be making every effort to deal with the issue this week especially in the hardest-hit areas.

He also complained of people just dumping garbage at the side of the road.
