This country’s Attorney General says he’s prepared to bring the hammer down on corruption but witnesses must be prepared to give evidence.
Dale Marshall in addressing a Chamber of Commerce meeting on the topic said business people have confessed to him about paying bribes to public officials but they are not prepared to give evidence to the police.
He said when invited to give a statement many decline for fear of safety and repercussions to their businesses, but described such informers as nothing more than rumour mongers, who continue to be a part of the corruption.
