UPDATE: Road fatality

A traffic accident this morning claimed the life of 79-year-old Warwick Sargeant of Yearwood Road, Black Rock, St. Michael.

The incident involving a motor car and the elderly pedal cyclist happened around 8 am along President Kennedy Drive at its junction with First Avenue, Thomas Gap.

The car was driven by 21-year-old Dwayne Tull of Waterford Road, St. Michael.

Station Sargeant Michael Blackman spoke to the media at the scene.
