The Democratic Labour Party wants Government to disclose the “silent” sponsor that is financing Crop Over’s Massy Pan Pun De Sand event.

The National Cultural Foundation announced last week the decision to have the event free again, after they received support from an unnamed benefactor.

DLP’s President, Verla Depeiza, said that this financial support may come at a price and believes that government owes it to the public to reveal the benefactor.

She was speaking at a party meeting titled One Year Later: Who Is Smiling Today? at the St. Michael School.
