Opposition Leader Concerned About Waivers And Exemptions

Opposition Leader, Bishop Joseph Atherley, is calling for an urgent review of ministerial powers in government and the close monitoring of waivers and exemptions given to private citizens and companies.

Speaking today in Parliament as members debated the Income Tax (Amendment and Validation) Bill, 2018, Bishop Atherley said he’s concerned about the alleged high number of exemptions and waivers that are being granted.
