Warren Mottley, brother of Barbados Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has died.

He died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he had been admitted after suffering complications from a procedure he had undergone at another facility.

Prime Minister Mottley issued a statement on his passing.
