COVID-19 cluster at St. Michael business

After several days with only one or two new covid-19 cases or sometimes none, Barbados yesterday recorded seven new positives.

The cases involving one male and six females were recorded from the 490 tests conducted by the Public Health Laboratory.

There are now thirteen people in isolation.

Minister of Health and Wellness, Lieutenant Colonel Jeffrey Bostic, referred to the cluster of cases while speaking to reporters at a media event today.

He disclosed that most of the cases are from one St. Michael business indicating that some people and places are becoming slack in their adherence to the protocols.
