The Barbados Met Office is urging seabathers to stay out of the water, especially along the western and northern coasts and to be cautious about venturing into the ocean elsewhere due to hazardous conditions.

Acting Director of Barbados Meteorological Services Sabu Best tells Starcom Network News the marine alert issued yesterday has proven to be very much warranted.

Conditions in some areas are considered to be very dangerous.

Mr. Best explained the outlook.
