Management of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital reports that four staff members have tested positive for covid-19 but stress that the cases came from contacts outside the hospital including the boxing day bus crawl.
In making the disclosure at a news briefing this afternoon, Executive Chairman of the QEH, Juliet Bynoe-Sutherland, stressed that no other staff members or patients have tested positive as a result
Mrs. Bynoe-Sutherland stressed that extensive protocols are in place at the hospital and notes that so far, no other staff or patients have tested positive due to the four-staff-related cases.
