Industrial action against security firm G4S will begin tomorrow.
The Barbados Workers Union executive council formally submitted correspondence to the Minister of Labour Colin Jordan, informing of its intention to begin action.
General Secretary of the BWU, Toni Moore, tells Starcom Network News, this action has unfortunately triggered responses from the airport siding with G4S, which goes against industrial practices.
In light of this an emergency meeting of the council will be held to decide if the strike should go nationwide.
