St. George North MP Gline Clarke is resigning from his seat in Parliament at the end of this month and will become Barbados’ High Commissioner to Canada. A by-election is to be held in St. George North in 90 days. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley on Sunday, during a Barbados Labour Party St. George North branch meeting.
