Police are carrying out investigations into a shooting incident where a Police Officer was shot and injured earlier today.
Police said that around 11:45 am officers were on duty along Henley Road, St. John, in the area of Henley Plantation. The Police Officers challenged an individual who opened fire injuring one. The injured Police Officer was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital for medical attention. The name of the Police Officer is being withheld.
The culprit is said to be short and stocky, of light complexion, wearing a green and white T-shirt and short green pants.
