Workers at the Bico factory at the Harbour Road St. Michael remained off the job for a second consecutive day after negotiations with the company failed to produce an agreement.
Officials from the Barbados Workers Union and Management of Bico met for six hours at the Labour Department last evening under the Chairmanship of the Chief Labour Officer over issues which caused the workers to walk off the job yesterday.
Communications and Information Specialist at the Barbados Workers Union, Miracle-Ann King, voiced disappointment that despite the extensive discussions no agreement was reached.
She insists the BICO workers will remain off the job until progress is made.
