A man has been shot dead at the Pine, St. Michael in the early hours of this morning.
The police say their Operations Control Room received a report at about 1:45 am, that a male had been shot while sitting on his step at Newton Crescent, The Pine.
Officers from the District ‘A’ Station responded to the area and discovered the unresponsive body of a man with what appeared to be a gunshot wound.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by a medical doctor and has been identified by family members as 38 year old Ricardo Gill of Number 34 Newton Crescent, The Pine.
The Barbados Police Service is appealing to anyone who can provide any information pertaining to this incident, to contact the Criminal Investigations Department, Police Emergency at 211, Crime Stoppers or any police station.
