Attorney General, Dale Marshall, has praised the Barbados Police Service for their work as he notes a recent lull in what had been a worrying spate of gun violence.
But, he warns that there is still a lot of work to be done.
Mr. Marshall was speaking on the sidelines of the opening in Barbados of an international security conference – a two-day forum on an effective multilateral policing architecture against global threats.
It’s being organized by the Trinidad-based CARICOM Implementation Agency for Crime and Security (IMPACS) in collaboration with the international policing organization, INTERPOL.
Mr. Marshall maintaining a cautious tone, says he hopes the lull persists and urges public support for the efforts of law enforcement.
