Alarm over knife incident at primary school

The authorities are investigating an incident where a primary school student allegedly brandished a knife this morning.

The incident reportedly happened just before the start of classes, at the St. Catherine Primary School in St. Philip.

Sources familiar with the incident tell Starcom Network News that it was discovered that a class four boy had a knife.

The teaching staff was alerted and a teacher reportedly recovered the knife from the student’s bag.

As word of the incident spread, several parents arrived at the school and took their children back home.

Meanwhile, teachers at the school are said to be very concerned over the incident.

However, classes at the school continued.
