The National Insurance Building at Culloden Road, St. Michael was temporarily evacuated today after smoke was reportedly seen coming from the third floor.

The building is occupied by the NIS, as well as offices of the Ministry of Health and the Director of Public Prosecutions.

Fire Service Station Officer, Roger Bourne, says the problem occurred while an air condition unit was being replaced but that there was no major fire.
