Peace Program progress a year on

Government’s crime prevention chief reports progress a year after the launch of their campaigns with hundreds of young people and their parents being targeted for various programs.

Minister in the Attorney General’s Office with responsibility for crime prevention, Corey Lane, provided an update on the sidelines of a ceremony to launch a swimming program for students at four schools in St. Lucy.

He says more than 600 people have been involved in their programs overall.

He gave a program enrollment breakdown enrollment.

Meantime, Chief Education Officer, Dr. Ramona Archer-Bradshaw, voiced her support for the initiatives under the peace program, including this latest one.
