The Transport Board is assuring St. Andrew residents that there is no plan to withdraw the Baxters Bridge bus service.
Transport Board CEO, Fabian Wharton, tells Starcom Network News, that some residents are reportedly of the view that the service implemented to assist residents affected by the closure of the Bruce Vale Bridge a couple of years ago was being discontinued and may even have been planning a petition.
Mr. Wharton insists those rumours are far from the truth.
Mr. Wharton gives the assurance that the concern is unnecessary.
