Local pharmacists are giving the assurance that there is an adequate supply of medication despite a scarcity of some brands of drugs.

President of the Barbados Pharmaceutical Society, Marlon Ward-Rogers says that while certain brands are not available, there are alternatives.

He notes, however, that people may have to pay for the alternatives obtained from private pharmacies, if they are not on the drug formulary.
