Government is pressing ahead with a plan to relocate vendors off the highways with Prime Minister Mia Mottley describing the road-side selling as both a health and a safety hazard.
Prime Minister Mottley was speaking at the St. Thomas speaks town hall session.
She says the coconut piles left at the side of the road can harbour mosquitoes and rodents but also have the potential to cause a major traffic accident.
According to Prime Minister Mottley better must and will be done.
