The Barbados Workers Union has declared its members at the University of the West Indies Cave Hill Campus on strike from tomorrow unless their pay demands are met.
The Cave Hill staff from a variety of departments staged a protest March this morning in support of their demand to be granted the same three percent salary increase and one-off 15 hundred dollar payment given to government workers.
BWU General Secretary, Toni Moore, says that for the past nine months the union has been in talks with Cave Hill management on these issues and their patience has run out.
