The Barbados Police Service is mourning the death of retired Senior Superintendent of Police Keith Ellis who passed away this morning.

Mr. Ellis who retired in 2018 also served as Director of the National Cultural Foundation’s Crop Over Festival Band.

He joined the police band at the age of just 14 years old and had a 52-year career in the police service.

He was Director of the Police Service Band from 2013 to 2018.
