Bar Association Wants Commission of Inquiry Into Cellphone in Police Interrogation Room

The Barbados Bar association is calling for a Commission of Inquiry into the matter of a cell phone that was found taped under a desk in a police station during an attorney client interview early this year.

Convenor of the association’s criminal law committee, Martie Garnes points out what he believes are discrepancies in the findings of the investigation into the matter.

He questions whether a proper investigation was done.
