A man is reported to have taken his life by walking off of a Jetty in Speightstown, St. Peter earlier today.

Owner of the Fisherman’s Pub in Speightstown, Clement Armstrong, confirmed to Starcom Network News that the incident did occur sometime this morning.

He says the man who goes by the name of “Peter” frequents the area, but is from St. Lucy.

Mr. Armstrong says the death has left him saddened.
