The police have made quick progress in solving a recent murder with the arrest, charging and remanding of a 22 year old St. Philip man.
Xavier Sargeant of Marley Vale faces a series of charges in relation to a fatal shooting last Monday at Four Roads, St. Phillip.
He’s accused of the murder of 20 year old Nicobie Lavia on June 19th, as well as endangering the lives of Adrian Beckles, Dimitri Jones, Samir Wilfred and Shaquon Goodridge and committing serious bodily harm to Jelani Nowell.
He has also been charged with unlawful use of a firearm during the same incident.
Sargeant appeared before Magistrate Joy-ann Clarke at the District ‘C’/St. Matthias Magistrates Court today and has been remanded to Dodds Prison until Wednesday 26th July.
