The police are trying to determine the circumstances of a bullet-riddled car abandoned on a St. Philip road.

Police receive report about three minutes past noon of shots fired. They responded to the area and found the car abandon with no one in it.

The red Suzuki Swift was left at Farm Road, near Six Roads . Several of what appeared to be bullet holes were visible.

There was no sign of the occupants but some reports indicated there were injuries as a result of the incident.

Residents of the area tell Starcom Network News of hearing a number of gunshots.

Police investigations are continuing into the circumstances.
