Independent Senator Kevin Boyce, recommends what he calls a hybrid house using technology to participate in meetings without being present.

Senator Boyce, an attorney at law, was speaking as the Senate debated a report of a committee on proposed changes to the rules governing how parliament functions.

He explained how it would work noting the use of technology for remote meetings during the covid-19 pandemic.
