The Transport Authority in collaboration with the police service has launched a crackdown on reckless driving and other bad practices by route taxi and mini-bus operators.
The agency was recently given greater power of enforcement through amendments to the Transport Authority Act and its Director Ruth Holder tells Starcom Network News they have met with the police on the matter of PSV indiscipline and are taking action.
Mrs. Holder listed several areas where PSV behaviour has been particularly problematic.
