Some workers at the Ministry of Education stopped work this morning over an ongoing environmental issue.

General Secretary of the National Union of Public Workers, Richard Greene confirms the work stoppage.

He spoke to Starcom Network News ahead of a meeting involving the leadership of the Ministry of Education, the NUPW and ministry staff.

Meantime, an employee of the ministry of education contacted Starcom Network News alleging that the problem includes mould in the building which they claim has been making staff ill.

There was also a claim that there are bed bugs there.
