A single reform institution for juveniles is one of the outcomes of a probe into the government industrial school.
This was revealed during a news conference yesterday where a panel investigating the Government Industrial School has recommended a major overhaul of the institution.
Minister of Home Affairs and Information, Wilfred Abrahams explained that both boys and girls of the two industrial schools will now be housed in the same compound as a way to make the best use of the resources available.
The authorities stressed that males and females will be housed in separate dorms.
