The long-delayed Hyatt Hotel project is finally getting started.
This has been disclosed by Senior Minister in the Prime Minister’s office, Dr. William Duguid, who has responsibility for infrastructural projects.
He made the announcement as he led off discussion in the House of Assembly on a plan to hand over the Treasury Building in the City to investors to turn it into a residential and commercial complex.
Dr. Duguid also stated that the stretch of coastline from upper Bay Street to Bridgetown is set for major tourism development.
