A man has been injured in a shooting last night at Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St. Michael.
The police say the incident occurred at about 10:43 PM.
The victim is said to have been shot in the foot.
He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he is being treated.
No arrest has as yet been made as police continue investigations into how and why the shooting occurred.
Residents of the area reported hearing multiple gunshots.
