Government is urging conservation as international fuel prices continue to rise and local prices have been increased despite the cap on VAT.
Minister of Energy and Business Development Kerrie Kerrie Symmonds says there’s only so much government can do to the shield consumers.
The Minister was speaking on VOB’s Down to Brasstacks programme.
Mr. Symmonds disclosed that the cap on VAT, intended as a partial measure to help mitigate the fuel price hikes, will be reviewed in a couple of months.
