Tourism Minister Senator Lisa Cummins says Barbados’ relatively low covid-19 vaccination rate remains a concern for travellers.

She was speaking to the media this morning about the Inaugural KLM flight to Barbados.

Senator Cummins notes that around 99 per cent of visitors are vaccinated and stresses that tourists want to travel to places where they feel safe.

She believes the introduction of safe zones should help allay visitor’s fears.
