Two men, charged with serious bodily harm get bail

Forty-one year old, Roland Layne has been placed on $5,000 bail after appearing in the District “D” court on a charge of serious bodily harm.

Layne, a regular caller on VOB’s Down to Brass Tacks programme under the name, “Mr. Agriculture”, along with his Great uncle, David Tyrone Layne, were jointly charged with committing serious bodily harm to Dane Browne, with intent to maim, disfigure or disable him.

The incident occurred at Flippers Hideaway, at Edey Village Christ Church on Friday.

Both men both of Edey Village, Christ Church appeared before Chief Magistrate, Ian Weekes, and pleaded not guilty to the charge.

They are scheduled to reappear at the District ‘B’ court on Thursday, June 4th, 2020.
