Teens sorry for slapping homeless

Two teenagers who were caught on social media bullying a number of homeless men in Bridgetown will serve community service until school restarts.

It’s part of the punishment agreed to be given to, both 13 years old, by the Juvenile Liason Scheme, the Barbados Alliance to End Homelessness, and the parents of the boys.

Earlier this afternoon, chairman of the Alliance, Kemar Saffrey told the media it was decided to give them community service rather than a criminal record.

The two 13-year-olds also apologize.
